DisasterTalk is a group texting app you can use to communicate with a team of people where there are not many communication options available such as in a disaster area. We have launched this app for dedicated use in case of a disaster or rescue scenario for communication between various parties involved. This app can transmit messages to another iPhone up to 100 feet away without wi-fi and also through a meshwork of iPhones nearby to even longer ranges.

- Find people who are 100 feet around you and connect with them, even if they are strangers to you. No need to hesitate or risk rejection as they will only see your profile name unless you tell them who you are.

- DisasterTalk is a group chat, so people around each other can join in and chat, No need to sit around and get bored or be left out. Join the conversation around you.

- You can declare yourself and meet people in person right away, since everyone you are chatting with are nearby you. Or you can choose to continue chatting without revealing yourself, knowing you are right there if you choose to meet.

- Great places to use DisasterTalk are places where you dont have wi-fi or phone signal available,or in waiting areas where lots of people are gathered together such as airports, buses, subways, coffee shops and even in the airplanes and more.



This app does not guarantee that the message sent will be received by another party as it depends on the distance of the iPhone and that iPhone should be running this app on the foreground. Coordinated effort to keep the team members within reasonable distance of up to 30 feet of another member and running of this app on the foreground (not in the background) to create a largest possible range of communication is required for proper operation of this app. If other reliable methods of communication are available, they should be preferred over this app.
